This is a subject I have never thought of. Coming from the small town of Orofino my photography jobs were all by word of mouth.

Now living in Caldwell Idaho a much bigger city and not knowing anybody I am think more and more about Networking.

I think the problem here is the fact that nobody has heard of me or knows me so why would they consider Networking with me? They probably already have working relationships with other photographers in my area.

I know I will do okay but it may take some time. The reviews I have received should help. They come from The Chamber of Commerce, Clearwater Tribune, many people and Santa Clause. The local newspaper has contacts that they are going to mention me to. I pass out my business cards to everyone I talk to.

I know that when I get my first local Wedding contract the couple will love my style and pictures and that is where the word of mouth will start.

Since I plan to submit the weddings to Wedding Magazines and they require that all vendors information be submitted also I see the importance of Networking.

When Networking with Vendors would it be of any benefit to network outside my local area or out of state?

Like I say networking is new to me and I look forward to your thoughts on the subject

Below are three company's that I am linked with now.

Thank you
