Bouquet substitute

Does anyone have any unique ideas of what Bridsmaids can carry other than the traditional flowery, bouquet???

if there is a theme to the wedding , something that compliments the theme, although what that is without knowing the details is a little tricky

My wedding is on New Years Day (1/1/2011) colors: midnight blue and silver and of course crystals :)

Without knowing the theme of your wedding it's hard to make the right suggestions, but here are few items my couples have used:

parasol
pomanders/kissing balls
evening bag pouch
lantern
fans
bible, prayer book, rosary (for very religious wedding)
hand held venetian mask

OK then the masquerade mask, packaged scented pine cones or packaged snowflakes with crystals, the lantern idea can work as well

What would the packaged snowflakes with crystals look like. Im very visual but I cant seem to picture it!

You probably wouldn't find something like that online, that was a custom design I had created for my couple.

I recently researched and did a post on fabric flowers (mostly from Etsy) and DIY fabric flowers. Still flowers, but I think very unique and cool!
