OK PLANNERS HERE WE GO.......HAPPEN TO BE LOOKING AT BRIDEZILLA ONE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND THERE WAS A BRIDE THAT CHANGED DRESSES 7 TIMES!  IT SEEMED SHE WAS MORE FOCUSED ON THE DRESSES MORE THAN HER EVENT.   WHEN IS IT TOO MUCH?

I think the alternations cannot be over 3 times

While I agree that seven is a bit excessive and over the top, it is the bride's day - let's face it - it is all about her and her groom. I think changing from  the wedding gown after the ceremony to a more comfortable but formal gown for the reception is fine. Every wedding is different and every couple has their own ideas of what they deem important --for the seven time dress-changing bride, it is clear that fashion is one of her top priorities. That is fine if it works for her. But, yes, it is a bit dramatic!

I honestly don't see a reason to change that many times.  I can understand wearing something more formal for the ceremony, and then a bit more comfortable to dance at the reception... and then a going away outfit.  I don't see how anyone could possibly change more than 3 times, and even that's more than most would consider.

Well, seven is certainly too much lol.  I know each bride is different, but I think that two is enough.  More than that and it's becoming about something other than till death do us part IMO.  I gave up on Bridezilla a few years ago because it got me too riled up.
