How do I Google my website

jus go to google.com and enter your website name into the box press enter

if your website is linked to or through bridal tweet that will happen, can you go directly to the site , ie type in the website through the task bar?

Hello again,

Yes it does come up through the task bar, however, if a bride is googling Bridal favors, I will not be found. I wrote to Google to inquire about the cost of appearing on the first page, I bet it is quite hefty. I think I am forced to do a bridal show "SOLO" I have no experience in this and I just wanted to get my name out there and run a home based business. I thank you for your help Glen................................

go to the goolgle local business center ( google it) it will set you up for your local market and it is free while you are there make sure you get google maps up and running. These are all free and the work pretty well, assuming your website is doing what you need once they get there.

Your advice to me is so invaluable. I have to get my webdesigner to tweek a few things on my site, then I think I will be good to go. I think I am afraid of success because now I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking of potential orders. I thank you so much!

Hi Carmen...there are a few additional things that you can do to increase your ranking on the search engines. First...you can google (lol) "submit url" and submit your web address to Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc. to ensure that your site will be crawled. You can also make sure that you're posting your link on as many sites as possible, as well as posting links back to you within pages on your site (called backlinks)...e.g. on your "About Us" page you can have a link to your "Contact Us" page. Also, make sure your page titles as well as all of your pages contain your main keywords and keyphrases. You also want to frequently update content on your site...so weekly sales/deals and other updated content will help. It takes some time for you to get bumped up, but these are a few of the things you can do to help speed up the process.

I have found that a good web designer not only possesses amazing design skills, but also can help you increase your rankings in the search engines. My designer has given me oodles of tips for increasing my rankings and I've followed followed them all to the letter to much succes.
