Invitations: do-it yourself or printing company?

Help! Looking into bring invitations into inventory. Wondering if brides are going through printing companies or doing it themselves. All advice helpful. Thanks!

My business is about 50/50. I order stock invitations from many vendors but also create custom. I order all the pockets, cardstocks for the custom and print them. It seems the brides are willing to assemble them to save some money.

I agree its a 50?50 kind of area. My bride is ordering the kits online and we are doing them our selves...but were ordering the card stock for the menu cards, programs, save the date cards and doing those ourselves. So they would all have the same look we made sure we buy the card stock from the same place! Depening on the budget and allotted time, you never know? I said take it on, see what happens!

I have found that since starting my business that vistaprint have an excellent service,to buiness and general public,i have found some lovely designed invatations and these were easy to create with their website,hope it helps mandy x
