Photogs, your booking practice?

What do you guys say about your booking practices? Is 1 year in advance too long? I'm trying to stick with 6 month or less. What is your take on this? Cons and pros? Please share.

We book about two years out, because of the demand of our photographers. I think now days you have to have a lock stock and barrel contract.

This past year I had a bride want to book one year out. I agreed to that one. I prefer 4 - 6 months.

My prices change every year, the only time I'll book anything more than a year out is if I know I'm not changing my prices.
