Software or manual

Hello my fellow event planners. I have a question for all of you. When planning your events, whether it's a wedding, meeting, or other type of social affair, do you use computer software to help you with your planning or do you do things manually? If you use a software, which one do you use and why? How is this software beneficial? For those who have tried different software programs, what were these programs missing in order for you to be most effective to your clients??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have found a FANTASTIC software program - http://www.elmsoftware.com/ - it is the iDo Wedding and Event Planning Software. There is a 30 day free trial - this is such a great program - let me know if you have any questions about it - I think I pretty much have it figured out!

Hi Lindsey! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I just went through their tutorial and it's ABSOLUTELY wonderful! I will definitely be purchasing this. Do you also have the seating plan program? If so, how do you like that?

I have not done the seating plan yet because I have a different one that I have been using, I am trying to figure out which one I like better! I am glad that you like the planning software - I think it is awesome!
