Would love to hear everyone's favorite songs for a Son and Mother dance for son's wedding.

Thanks for starting this topic. I have had two sons get married. And you are right; there were plenty of Father and Daughter songs. However, choosing an appropriate Mother and Son song was difficult.
My choice was Through the Years by Kenny Rogers and Memories by Elvis Presley.

I have listened to so many songs over the past months so many meaningful and beautiful.I love the message of songs. The choice was a challenge. Everyone has been so helpful,and have been so great to share their opinions. I am sure other MOG and Grooms to be will be helped with so many suggestions!

This past weekend,I was so happy to have a Mother/Son dance to "My Wish for You" by Rascal Flatts. Yes, I did have a few tears(of joy!) Thank you,thank you,thank you,for reminding me of how wonderful this song is . He , his new bride and I all thought it was perfect !

I helped pick the Mother/Son song for my husband and his mom...it just so happens, it's one of my favs too...I just love the words/meaning...always brings a "happy" tear to my eye. :)

I was thrilled to see Sunrise Sunset there. I love it, and find it soooooo appropriate for either the mother son dance, or for the parents of the bride and groom when they join the bride and groom on the floor for the first combined family dance.
