Hi all, I'm still struggling with the DJ vs Band debate. I would prefer a band, but can't find one that I really like! Does anyone have any advice on the best place to find good bands/DJs. I would ask friends and family but none of my friends or family are familiar with my wedding location: Asheville, NC. A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?: I live in NYC with my college sweetheart and most recently, fiance, Dale! For our wedding, we're going back to my roots in Tennessee for a rustic, romantic outdoor wedding! I'm on a bit of a budget and also love the charm of homemade projects. So for the next 8 months I'll be looking for creative ideas, and letting you know what works and doesn't!

• Wedding date claimer - to help notify people of the special date - a caricature of the excited couple in a fun pose, with the wording of your choice

• Wedding Sign In Board - as a center-piece on the signing table (guests sign the matting of the framed caricature) or to welcome guests to the reception.
