- About Me Cecilia Negrete also known as Lia Negrete. Born in 1977 in Anaheim California. A Mexican with a Local Native Southern California roots also known as the Juaneno Indians call home.
As a natural born artist. Lia Negrete had discovered her 15-year Hair & Makeup career at an early age. Developing her almost professional Makeup Kit with MAC, Makeup Forever and other favorites. Self expressing her creativity thru own style with fashion, Hair & Makeup throughout her teenage high school years, attending the eccentric glamorous clubs in Hollywood and friends who shared the lifestyle is where the love just grew from then on.
After High School graduation Lia obtained her California state Cosmetology license at Riverside Community College soon after her Professional career had just begun & continued.
The first 10 years consisted of assisting the masters in Hair & Makeup from precision cutting, color, styling by top educators representing companies such as Vidal Sasson, Redken, Schwarzkopf, Aveda, Italy Hair Fashions and more.
Working as an independent stylist in her local salon and soon after with a loyal following of clients from all over Southern California.
In 2003, seeking adventure & change in life, Lia decided to move to Miami, Florida where she decided to create a successful mobile freelance Hair & Makeup artist career. Since 2009 Lia has returned back to her Southern California to continue her art in Beauty.
Lia is also a passionate vegetarian, animal lover along with two proud Eclectus parrots and has the gift to see the beauty in everyone.
