A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?: In a sentence, I help brides. Think of me as the lazy Martha Stewart. It's not that I don't love what she and her staff does. It's just that - who has time? So I take great ideas that brides can easily and affordably do.

I'm a lifestyle expert, award-winning wedding and party planner, co-author of several books including "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Throwing a Great Party" and "The Pocket Idiot's Guide to Choosing a Caterer." I also write a wedding column for the Examiner.com website and I have a wedding, party and holiday blog. I'm also a featured expert for EHow.com and TVLesson.com.

I'm semi-retired from planning and now mostly want to help brides create their dream weddings by offering advice, providing them with information about great vendors and resources and show them how to do things they'll need to know for their wedding and their future life as a host of their own parties easily and beautifully.
