Good points, although id say about 75% of my past clients wanted to have a CD of all images taken at their wedding for their convenience , and thats all they wanted! Sure, I would love to give them prints! But thats just not want they want anymore.

I feel that there's enough photographers to go around for each bride and groom to find one within their price-point. Those who want a bargain will find the artist who just finished photography school. Couples who want only the best will find the a…

All of our packages come with disk and prints. It's the digital age. Resisting this and telling clients who ask for the disk that they really don't want it is more like a car salesman than a photographer. We're here to capture memories. Then get tho…

Anticipate. That's one of the keys to successful wedding photojournalism. You have to know they are going to kiss before they do. Almost like reading the signs. A good photog can see a couple dancing and get in the right spot to catch the dip before…

I hear what you're saying here, Rodney, but times have changed. I shot one wedding last year where the couple chose the album over the disk, and they were in their 50's. Getting a disk doesn't mean that the client is stranded, because a successful w…

hi adrian, hi all... you know what i mean about this question, but I think also that there are no reference points for the brides, there are many photographers or similar in the world. what we can offer is the quality of products offered and the utm…

The answer to this question very much depends on the brides self confidence...The common theme no matter what the brides confidence level is to to have a documentary of special moments without direction, also known as photojournalistic style. Beside…

Great question Rodney ! I want to know the answer also. I am a photographer. There's a lot of trendy stuff going on but when is it too much ?

Yes photojournalism is the way to go now a days, we as photographers are there not really to participate but to stand in the sidelines and anticipate moments, hugs, laughter, kisses, I think brides want emotion seen in there photographs and the rest…

Brides want pictures that capture them and their families embracing their wonderful wedding and family-sharing experience. Not only do they want posed pictures, but they want those spontaneous captured snapshots that reveal them as they really are.…

The 24 hour wedding photography package

When a bride sees an 8 hour photography package for $3000, I think it's hard for them to justify spending $375 hour for wedding photography. Most don't realize that the wedding day is only a small portion of the total time invested on a wedding. The following is an itemized list of the time invested by us which I suspect is consistent with most photographers on your wedding day.
