Attended an industry party for wedding vendors at the Long Beach Aquarium last night. Excellent free food and drink. No sign of slowing in the wedding industry, brides are still getting married!

Drove down to ocean side this morning to meet with a bride and maid from San Diego. Wedding consultations can be so fun. As we over looked the marina she asked about wedding packages and I showed them the albums. They loved my Photo Journalistic style.

Lucky I am not booked on a wedding today. In the 18yrs I have been shooting there was only one time a wedding got rained out. It was a 250 person Samoa & Salvador wedding. Wow, never thought I would see this happen. I was shooting a Jewish wedding ceremony in Woodland Hills and a tragic thing took place. It was late in the evening during the wedding reception. It was an upscale event to say the least and I was covering it as a wedding photographer. There must have been 250 people plus in the banquet hall. Everyone was drinking, dancing and having a grand old time. The groomsmen were carrying the mother of the bride on a chair above their heads on the dance floor.… Continue
