Weddings are a-changing! Couples are now opting for more socially responsible, understated weddings, opting for having 100 of their closest family and friends rather than larger numbers –the concept is for more intimate events. They are also going for more green weddings, with locally grown florals and plants, recycled invitations, and opting for being more socially conscious i...n regards to the environment. The vintage theme is also coming back, with brides embracing and flocking to thrift and antique stores for that old aged feel. The traditions started by our grandparents, of having old family wedding photos on display during the reception serve as vintage décor. More and more couples are also opting for having their ceremonies in unique settings, instead of the traditional church setting. Some environments include in a museum, a park, or other unique spaces. Trends in wedding gowns include puffy sleeves, illusion necklines with a sheer, delicate layer of fabric that veils the skin making the look very elegant, soft, and romantic.
