Welcome to Caitlin and Curtis's fun, bright and beautiful summer wedding at Pine River Ranch in Leavenworth, Washington. This may be my longest post to date and in hind sight I should have split it up into two blog posts, but I just love every detail of this wedding, from the pink bridesmaids dresses and candy bar to the dessert table and the sparkler grand exit and I wanted to share them ALL. Not to mention, the epic dance off between our bride and her maid of honor and the groom and his best man. We were lucky enough to get our hands on the video which you'll see below in this post.  Caitlin had an extremely detailed timeline of the big day which started out asking all "awake and fed people" to help set up in the barn.  Her side note read "the more, the merrier and the more relaxed the rest of the day will be."  Her friends and family did a great job of helping and their day was filled with crazy amounts of fun, stress-free relaxation, immense love and wide smiles all around.
Our seasoned veteran photographers Amy and Tavis of Memory Montage Photography were there the ENTIRE DAY to capture every single detail of this beautiful wedding and outdid themselves once again. Any brides looking for amazing and affordable photography, make sure to click on the link above and check out their portfolio. This husband and wife team is based out of Yakima and they do such a wonderful job at every wedding they shoot here and always find new, unique places to shoot on the grounds. He had a friend living on the 3rd floor of Stimson Hall, and so did I! First we became friends and after a couple more months we started dating in December of 2005. We were both 18 :)
Inspiration for the wedding/approach to your wedding style:* Our vision for the wedding was that it would be casual, beautiful and fun.  We wanted our guests to have fun the entire day:)

The flower bouquets are gorgeous and match perfectly with the bright colors they chose. The gerber daises were ordered through Safeway in Leavenworth and they picked up the rest of their flowers at Pike Place Market in Seattle.

I love this shot of Caitlin and Curtis. There will be many smiles in their future!

This was taken on the stairs of the main house of our bed and breakfast suites where the couple and some of their family were pampered after the wedding with Jacuzzi spas, river rock gas fireplaces and a world famous homemade breakfast delivered to their door the morning after the wedding.

Mason Jar Aisle Runners with beautiful summer colored gerbsA unique timeline of the day for guests which doubled as fans during the ceremony. The ceremony included songs like "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, "I always have and always will" by Dave Barnes and the recessional was to "Hey Mama" by Mat Kearney.
How was the food?* Many people complimented on us on our food, which was one of the simplest parts of our wedding!  We bought most of our food at Costco the day before and arranged the food on platters before the ceremony. Pine River Ranch was PERFECT for our wedding because they had a huge walk-in fridge to keep our food fresh overnight and had no requirement on caterers. We also purchased our beer and wine at Costco.Your favorite detail/decoration:* THE PHOTOBOOTH! Everyone LOVED having fun in the Photobooth. The best part is that the machine printed two strips, one for the guests to keep and one for the bride and groom. We even received a digital copy of all the photos in the mail after the wedding. They are HYSTERICAL! (We used S&S Rentals based in Kennewick for our Photobooth.)Their yummy (and of course color coordinated candy bar)"I Do" and "Me Too" forks for their first meal, what a neat idea!Cake* -  Leavenworth Safeway, we loved working with Angie!Their first dance was to Jason Mraz's acoustic version of "I won't give up." Caitlin and Curtis put together their own playlists for the ceremony, dinner, early dancing and late dancing. They  just plugged their computer into the Ranch's sound system.
What was your favorite part of the day:* The reception was the BEST! We worked hard to leave as much time for dancing as possible with the time allowed, so we started our ceremony at 5:00 pm, with the intention of having dancing and partying started by 7:00.

And what you've all been waiting for: the dance off! Push play below to watch their choreographed dance-off to a master mix of great dance songs and make sure to leave a comment on the blog who won! The guys or gals?

According to Caitlin: Who won the dance off?* Well, the girls. Of course! Even the groom agrees with me on this! To be fair, the boys live across the state from each other, so they had less time to practice than the girls. But the girls DEFINITELY won :)

Caitlin and Curtis exited to a sparkler send off

MemoryMP also put together a great video slideshow of the day with a special song chosen by the couple.

If you could tell a future bride one thing about the wedding planning or advice for the day of the wedding what would it be:* For wedding planning, I did it all myself and it is SO important to find the big 3 first: Venue, Photographer and Dress. Everything else isn't nearly as time sensitive. For the day of advice, if you do not have a wedding planner, make a very detailed to-do list and make sure to have at least one go-to person that is not in the wedding party getting details together, someone you trust to make decisions on things you weren't anticipating. As the bride, you just do not have time with getting ready and photographs....such a BUSY day!!

And a special thanks to:
