DIY Ideas for a Holiday Dinner Party - Menu Options for Food & Drinks

Yesterday I shared a couple amazing decor ideas for a DIY Holiday dinner party that are guaranteed to have your friends talk your fabulous party for months! Now that you have the decor, it's important to decide on a delicious menu - food and drinks - to WOW your guests. I am always looking for new recipes and I have found a few great ideas for a tasty holiday menu - try not to drool as you check out these creative recipes!

{MENU - Holiday Appetizers}

If you are having a large gathering you may want to offer appetizers and easy to make finger foods for your guests. Some health-conscious menu options include:

Meatballs

Asparagus wrapped in Prosciutto (add Neufchatel cheese if you want the extra calories and flavor)

If you have a more intimate dinner with a few friends or family, here are a few menu options to enjoy around your dinner table:

As side dishes feel free to use any of the recipes above along with these hearty main dishes. I would also recommend the following sides:

  • brown rice,
  • vegetables (green beans, broccoli & cauliflower, carrots, asparagus, etc),
  • salad,
  • bread (corn bread or rolls),
  • baked sweet potato slices (rubbed in olive oil and sprinkled with cinnamon).

In addition to tasty food, you will definitely want to have some delicious drinks to offer your guests. Here are some wonderfully unique drink options I have collected on Pinterest that you can WOW your guests with:
