Dr. & Mrs. King ~ Elegant Romance

A true Hollywood style romance came to life on August 26 2011 when Kashara Murphy & Michael King said “I Do.” The now Dr. & Mrs. King have been together since high school and finally tied the knot in an intimate Wedding with 100 of their closest family and friends.

Though they met in the early years of high school they did not begin dating until their senior year. Kashara and Michael went off to college together in Albany with him becoming a Pharmacist and her becoming a Registered Nurse. The favors at their wedding reflected both of their loves for the medical profession with first aid kits from the bride and RX bottles full of candy from the groom.

Kashara & Michael joined their lives together forever at the chapel at Mount Saint Alphonsus in Esopus NY, one of the last Weddings that will be performed at this historical center. Following the ceremony all friends and family were invited to attend the reception at Anthony’s Pier 9 in New Windsor, NY.

These high school sweethearts had their hearts set on dancing their first dance alone. Imagine this beautiful couple dancing in the dark in the empty reception room with hundreds of candles lit. It was a moment they will remember the rest of their lives and a true first dance.

The decor was as simple and elegant as the bride, red and clear colored drinking glasses were filled with water and floating candles while red and white rose petals covered every available surface. Bouquets of hot pink and purple Gerber daisies surrounded the sweet heart table with the words “King” illuminated in red. The couple enjoyed a night of dancing and laughter with their guests while enjoying “loverlatinies” and welcoming the beginning of their life as one.
