SAN ANTONIO WEDDING CONSULTANTS, PRINCIPLES IN ACTION, LOVE NOT ONLY CREATING OUTSTANDING EVENTS, BUT OUR WEDDING EXPERT, ANSONYA BURKE MAKES SURE EACH AND EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR WEDDING PLANNING IS DONE WITH FLAIR.

Wedding cakes are a must-have at weddings; and the entire event is incomplete if there isn't any wedding cake-cutting ceremony. These days, luxury wedding cakes have become all the rage. Most couples are seen opting for the most 'grand' cake to add that special flair to their wedding. However, before you choose yours, I advice you go through the following set of checklist to make the task easier for yourself.

His and Her

As much as it's a bride's dream wedding, it's the grooms day too.  I advice taking his opinion on whether you want to have two cakes or one. With luxury cakes you have the benefit of having one cake- considering it's massive in nature- and unless you intend to invite a large gathering, stick to one cake for the ceremony.

Test and Trial

It is imperative you don't just fall for the design of the cake. Although I am aware each cake looks stupendous- but that's not the only factor that you should consider when getting a luxury cake. Besides, consider the taste that'll appeal to a majority of the people. Refrain from choosing exotic flavors- remember it's a luxury cake- and you don't want it to go to waste.

Desirable Design

Design matters. Period. That is what I believe the whole point of getting a luxury cake and what sets other cakes apart from your wedding cake. Choose a design that suits the theme of the wedding, is not hard to manage by your wedding vendors on the day of the wedding, and looks great with the reception decor.

Leaving Left-Overs

Lastly, a part of service that I too provide to my bride and grooms is making sure their wedding cake doesn't go to waste; and with luxury cake you need to be extra careful. Couples opting for it should remember to ask members of the family or reception vendors or their wedding planner to make sure the left overs are not left behind. It's considered good luck to send some to the guests who are unable to make the wedding, so keep it safe!
