I Do Venues Design Inspiration: Tickle Me Pink and Green and Orange

Photography By: Meg Perotti

Summary

Vibrant colors such as shocking pink, lime green, and bright orange are making quite the splash on today's wedding runways. At I Do Venues, we have seen these colors used independently for years, but the various combinations have recently hit the main stream. What makes these killer combinations work so well?

Independently, each of these strong colors can stand alone, creating either a very traditional look or a completely modern aesthetic. But together, these inspiration boards represent unique ways to combine bright vibrant colors, maximizing your WOW factor.

The amazingly talented Meg Perotti has documented a gorgeous lime green soiree. This wedding has captured the essence of spring by marrying bright colors with soft romantic lines. The black and white damask pattern on the favor box is beautiful; however, when you add a dash of shocking pink, you now have a favor that makes a statement. The brightly colored sashes with perfectly tied bows insist that the bridesmaid dresses will be noticed. The flowers allow the vibrant colors to blend seamlessly, while adding different textures. You can see more of this fabulous wedding at Meg's website and blog.

The modern aesthetic of a raspberry and orange wedding can't be missed. The bride did a fabulous job of tying the venue into the design. She played off the color of the curtains and furniture, matching them perfectly. The design of the furniture is clearly modern chic - with clean lines and simple textures.

With roses matched to the exact hue, the bride's bouquet is a treasure. Tightly bundled roses presented in tall glass vases is nothing new; however, when you add the simple detail of a sea grass foundation and a clean ribbon accent around each vase, you know you have a contemporary take on a timeless design. Amanda Bevington's unique style has captured this modern affair beautifully. You can see more of this wedding on her website and blog.
