Menswear : What to wear to a Wedding in 2017

We are now officially approaching the season where we can start to throw our oversized coats in the cupboard and bring our t-shirts and shorts back out! And this also means that the wedding invites will soon start rolling in! The spring/summer17 collections are finally with us, and we can start planning our key season outfits. If you want to make sure that you're the best dressed at every wedding you attend this season, see or top tips below...

Baggy Knitwear

This may seem a little casual for a wedding, but it appears a lot of designers are still choosing this cut even for more formal occasions. Fresh brands like The Couture Club are inspiring a more relaxed sports luxury vine to our outfits this summer, making sure that we all looking great and keeping comfortable. Designers this year like Balmain and Dries Van Noten means the majority of knitwear is set to be a lot baggier than usual, making them even more comfortable!

Stone cold

A number of high-profile designers including Valentino and Missoni showed at the fashion weeks that stone is the colour to embrace this season. Stone is essentially the colour that falls between white and beige, and we love it because it's so versatile. Across a variety of different items of clothing and outfits, you can wear this shade. Choose to go stone with a simple t-shirt for example, or pair of shorts and hat for a great streetwear look. However for a wedding, you should go for a classic stone suit, teamed with a tan pair of shoes = beautiful

Be there or be Square

Think chequered coats to and herringbone suits - there was so much square at the fashion weeks this season. Brands like Paul Smith were huge advocates of the square, choosing to display it on more formal pieces of clothing. It appears that after the re-emergence of the pinstripe over the past few years, designers are choosing to go for chequered designs and prints.
