Our Open Air Photo Booth Business

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would become a blogger.  I mean, who would be interested in what I have to say?  Well, it turns out, I have a lot to say.  Maybe I'll just be writing down words like I'm talking to myself and maybe eventually I will have feedback.  Whatever the case, I think it will be quite cathartic for me.  We have so much going on in our lives every day and every day I remember that I have it pretty darn good.  We're not rich but we're healthy and we're happy.  My oldest daughter got married a while back and at her reception was an open air photo booth.  I thought about it for a couple of weeks and then decided I wanted to start a business.  It wasn't hard because I'd started a business before.  I spoke with my husband, he agreed, and the rest is history.  We have an open air photo booth business and have been pretty busy.  What gives me self-gratification about this business?  It is the fact that I taught myself everything there is to know -- Adobe Photoshop, tethering the camera to the computer, Adobe Lightroom, and so much more, and the end result is amazing.  I do the marketing, I take the calls, I do the scheduling, and I love it.  Maybe it's my Type A personality (yes, I guess I get that from my dad).  Nevertheless, I'm pretty proud of what we've accomplished.  We absolutely love what we do and it has brought my husband and I closer together.  I like that we get to work together.
