Lucky I am not booked on a wedding today. In the 18yrs I have been shooting there was only one time a wedding got rained out. It was a 250 person Samoa & Salvador wedding. It took place in LA and was 1st class all the way. When I arrived at the brides house she looked really sad because of the foul weather. By the time the ceremony ended at the sanctuary she was a glow with excitement. We went straight to the country club golf venue. The reception was so lively that you did not even give the weather a second thought. I set up a studio lighting backdrop in an empty room and did all the formal shots there. Later I did some fun candid photo booth pictures too. The night ended with their pastor saying that rain on a wedding day was good luck. The pictures came out great and the bride was very happy.
