Bahamas Up & Ready for Brides After Hurricane Joaquin

Just had an interview on Periscope with Julie Albaugh of Wedding Market News, a popular  online wedding news forum and the question Julie wanted answered was "How are things in the Bahamas after Hurricane Joaquin?"

Well the answer is really simple the Bahamas is up and ready for brides and grooms as the popular destination wedding locations were unaffected by Hurricane Joaquin.

When speaking about the Bahamas you may think that it is one complete land mass but the Bahamas is actually an archipelago - 100,000 square miles stretch of sea containing over 700 islands and cays.

And while the southern islands of the Bahamas island chain were battered by Hurricane Joaquin the Islands of New Providence -  Nassau & Paradise Island, Grand Bahamas - Freeport  and Abaco - Marsh Harbour and the Cays were unaffected.

Meaning that the venues used to host up to 99.90 percent of destination weddings in the Bahamas are up and ready for Brides.

If you have a wedding planned for the Bahamas, chances are you have absolutely nothing to worry about as your chosen resort or wedding venue is waiting to welcome you and your guest.

It is important for you to contact your resort or wedding specialist as soon as possible so they will confirm that there is no need for concern. You can also call us at 1-(242)-327-2453 and we will be happy to help you with your wedding in the Bahamas questions.
