We are getting married at the 2011 Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival August 27, 2011.  We are excited to hold both our wedding and our reception there.  We don't have to worry about decorating the quaint chapel, but we do need to decorate for the reception.

The reception will be held outside in their reception area.  The area will be covered by a pavillion.  The tables will be picnic tables.  They decorate the head table for us using multicolored materials.  That leaves me needing to decorate about 9 tables.  7 for our guests to be seated at and 1 for gifts and 1 for the guest book, etc.

What is the normal size for a picnic table?  Does anyone have any decor ideas?  We are needing ideas for those on a "small budget"!

Thanks,

Andria

Picnic weddings are so lovely! Congratulations on your upcoming day!

I'm always a fan of a fancy placeholder card (I'm not going to lie, when I go to weddings, I keep these as souvenirs. It's like a free guest favor!) If you want to incorporate that vintage Renaissance feel, keep in mind letterpress options that are affordable and can be easily customized yourself, like these.

I agree with Rachel's glass jar idea as well. They look lovely holding twigs and branches and other eco items, and clear soda pop bottles also look great holding tall flowers.

Good luck!
Most picnics are relaxed and chilled where you sit on your picnic blanket and enjoy a few sandwiches in the sunshine. It's an nice information to share about the picnic decor. If any body needs to plan a wedding, they may use the wedding planner iPhone app and make use of it.
