Hi,

Lately I have been thinking of adding an extra service to my wedding business and I was thinking about starting with welcome bags for out of town guests. Since my niche is destination weddings I thought this would be a nice addition besides the emergency kits I offer.

Has anybody done this and was it succesful? what do you offer in your bags?

Regards,

Iris.

Hi Iris,

No matter what our business entails, I think we all add services to our current offerings at some point.  I think you should go for it.  I would suggest not offering the exact same items in your welcome bags that others offer; set yourself apart from the competition.  Ask some of your destination couples what they wish they had in their hotel room that they didn't, etc., and allow that to dictate what items you put in your bags and how you package them.  Good luck!

Hi,

I have a jewelry and accessories business to complement my wedding planning business.....and the Brides love it!!! Currently this company that I have signed up with offers its services only in the UK, USA, Canada and Germany, but they do have expansion plans. It is a great business opportunity. They even provide you with a predesigned custom store to sell your products online. Check out my site to know more about this great opportunity www.stelladot.com/jiasbridalboutique Feel free to share it with any of your industry contacts/colleagues etc.

I am also in the process of setting up an online favor store to complement the business. I hope it does well....
