Hello BridalTweet members:
Yes I have had many people from here (bridal tweet) visit my website. I have not gotten any clients however that is not the only purpose of this site. It’s a place to post your upcoming events, talk to vendors, and send messages to potential clients. If you’re not utilizing the site you won’t get much back in return right now. This is a brand new website- in order to make it attractive for brides bridaltweet needs vendors.
Vendors come first then you the vendors tell potential clients, friends, and family to spread the word to make it grow. I have told about 300 people and 100+ brides. It will take time to catch on within the wedding industry - you joined a new up and coming website that is only 5 months old. You can't have a million brides on a new site if you don't have vendors, events, contest, and interaction. Vendors need to market oneself and their own business. Vendors should be adding meaningful/educated posts, blogs, and invite friends/clients to join. I have seen many vendors’ right things that are not for clients to see regarding business, if you have questions on how business is going in these rough times or issues your company maybe facing- write an email to your vendor friends. Why would a bride want to hire that particular company and if they did they would expect you to practically give your service away for free.
This site is a great tool to if utilized correctly. All you vendors get out there and tell your potential clients, brides, and friends about this service so we can get it off the ground quicker!!!

Renee C Krejci, I am in the same boat as you...I seem to be trying harder to market myself. I am on weddingwire, but I haven't tried eventective yet. Thanks for the advice!

I haven't received any traffic from here either. I have had traffic from WeddingWire.com and eventective.com. You do have to pay for leads though. I have also been successful with local bridal shows in my area. It's still slow for me and I am looking to market myself even better. Getting a little discouraged.
there does seem to be more vendors but I think as it grows more and more couples are going to check it out! I have been trying to pull brides and couples from posting bridaltweet info on our facebook page and twitter alike!
