Candlesticks aren't just for candles anymore . . .

I am sure you can picture candlesticks on a mantel glowing with tall tapered candles illuminating the room with a warm romantic glow. It's also fairly easy to envision a beautiful table scape with candlesticks every so gracefully flowing down the center of the table at varying heights with candles of different shapes and sizes adding subtle beauty to the surrounding flatware.

But forget about the "typical" uses for candlesticks if just for a moment, and let your imagination…

Apple of My Eye . . .

With school starting in literally days, and the heatwave continuing across the nation, lately as an escape I find myself daydreaming of chilly, crisp fall weather (my favorite time of year) where the familiar scent of spice, pumpkin and apple surround me.
