HI Brian, nice to "meet" you as well. Basically, I let my clients decide who and what type of photography they would like to have for their weddings. I show them sample albums (that usually woos them the best) and as well slide show presentations of photographer's work. I get a sense always pretty quick whether they are looking for cheap and standard photography or else more a photojournalistic experience. Destination weddings are great and often people like the idea of importing a local photographer as sometimes the idea of a crazy Italian taking their photos scares them - even though all of our photographers speak English.
