A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
In the spring of 2006, My husband and I decided to renew our wedding vows. I had seen the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" and wanted a veil similar to the one Reese Witherspoon wore. I began searching for an affordable birdcage veil for my vow renewal since we had a very tight budget and was completely blown away by the prices. So I decided to create one! After I created my first veil it occured to me that there would be brides that wanted birdcage veils but the prices were outrageous. All Brides who wanted one should have a birdcage veil they could afford. After all, not all of us are celebrities or have a carte blanche wedding budget. Soon after that first design several other designs followed in a variety of colors and veiling choices and my birdcage veil business began under the name Events & Occasions.
I closed Events & Occasions down for a while and just recently reopened it with the launch of My Birdcage.
Since May 2007, I have created thousands of affordable handmade custom birdcage veils for brides, bridesmaids and flower girls around the world.
I do custom work. So if you don't see a veil style on my site that your looking for email me a picture of the veil your are wanting and I can create that design for you at a much lower price!
