A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?: I am a vibrant, "in love with love" wedding planner from central Illinois. I am still relatively new in the industry (5 yrs) but know that I can be a resource for the community, and am anxious to make new connections. I am astounded at how many people won't give time to anyone who isn't a paying client these days. The truth is that everyone could use someone to chat with, share experiences with, laugh with, and bounce ideas off of. I can offer friendship, advice, and ideas to those in need and am excited to share my passion with those who are passionate!

How much time do you really need to plan a wedding?

Planning a wedding can be done in a few weeks or as long as a few years. The question to ask yourself if you are considering a short planning time is what you're willing to be flexible on. There are definitely vendors out there who can help you. You may be limited to the locations to hold the ceremony and/or reception, but there is no reason why you cannot have an elegant wedding even if the time to prepare it is under a year.
