I'm so glad to see this post. So practical! It's actually what we did for our own wedding and it turned out beautifully.

Budget-friendly Wedding Wear

How wonderful it is that modern weddings have shed so many wedding wear traditions. Bridesmaids and groomsmen have so many options other than spending a couple hundred dollars on never-to-be-seen-again dresses and rented tuxedos. For those who are willing to take some risks, there are elegant alternatives to the typical bridal party wear. Bridesmaids can find some incredibly gorgeous dresses off the rack at department stores. Rather than selecting a universal dress for all of her attendants,…See More

Calligraphy by Rosemary Hall

The word calligraphy is derived from a Greek word meaning beautiful writing. How true! Calligraphy is an art form, and Rosemary Hall is an incredible artist. Use of Tissue in Invitations

Q&A: What is the purpose of the tissue in invitations, do I really need it in my invitation?Years ago, when formal invitations were written with quill and ink (and then when the printing press was invented), a piece of thin paper similar to modern tissue paper was placed on top of the invitation to prevent ink smudging. This practice continued well after new printing processes were invented and there was actually no need for the tissue. Currently, you may still see some formal invitations…See More
