Just signed up here and noticed that you are from Canada and are having your wedding on the long weekend in may. I was also looking to have our wedding then as well, but my fiance is concerned that many people have plans for the first long weekend with nice weather. I guess it depends what area you are from if you had this concern or not, but I was wondering how big of an issue it was (if at all) for your guests to decide to attend on this long weekend. My fiance says that this is practically national cottage or camp opening weekend, where as I say if we are giving people enough notice and they want to come to our wedding that won't matter. Did you come across this at all? Just wondering. Thanks.
