A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?

Tatiana Valerie, founder of Artvesta Studio, is an internationally published, award-winning photographer specializing in event photography. A Ukrainian native, Tatiana was academically trained in art and photography. Tatiana immigrated to the United States in 2002 and started her photography business in New York City. Tatiana’s work has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, InStyle, New York Weddings magazines, Style Me Pretty, and The New York Times.

I’m an award-winning photographer, a world traveler, an animal lover and a proud best friend of my favorite cat Apple. I feel so lucky to get to do what I love. I feel honored to share your special day with you. If you like what you see in my portfolio, you’re going to love your photos. I believe every picture I take and give you should be frame-worthy.

I call my photography style guided photo-journalism. I preserve the natural candidness of the scene but I do not normally shoot fully candid. I guide my clients into the right situation that gives a great starting point for the further natural flow that accentuates their positive sides. This way I make sure that the resulting images look not only natural but beautiful and flawless.

I care about natural beauty, realism and I am extremely detail-oriented. I like carefully observing people and noticing what unique traits make them attractive. I believe that everyone is beautiful and it is up to a photographer to notice, bring out, and capture those characteristics. I always ask myself, “What angle, lighting, and emotions will make the most impact and tell the right story?” I think every artist is unique in their ability to sense, conceptualize, and capture emotions and beauty.

My mission is to break outdated stereotypes about wedding photographers; I believe that wedding photography should be a beautiful and stress-free experience for everyone involved. I look forward to creating wonderful memories for you!
