Tropical Flowers: handling and caring

I have been asked continously about how to handle and prepare tropical flowers before arranging. The BIGGEST AND WORST mistake made by many florists is they tend to place the tropical flowers in the cooler. BIG NO-NO!! Tropical flowers such as: bird of paradise, varieties of gingers, heliconias, anthuriums are NEVER to be placed in the florist coolers. All you need to do is prepare the bucket with the water and food, cut the stems as you would any flower and place in the bucket. Leave them at…See More

Hello,

Welcome and thank you for being one of the first members of this exciting new community. So let’s get this party started!

Free Advertising Opportunity for You! Each week, the six BridalTweet members who Invite the most people will be Featured on our homepage and will appear first in our community section. Feel free to invite Brides, Vendors, and Twitter Followers.

It is so great to have you here because of all of the wedding expertise that you bring to our community. I encourage you to share that expertise with all of us. You can do this by starting your own BridalTweet Blog, starting a Discussion or by joining a Group. You can also ask other Members to be your Friends, and start talking to other people who are also passionate about weddings.

Please keep checking back in over the next few weeks as we build our community. If there is anything that I can do for you, please let me know.

Christine Dyer - Founder, BridalTweet.com
