I am interested in knowing what the new industry standard is for what number of invited guests will not attend a wedding?

In the past, I have heard that a bride should expect at least 15% of the guests not to attend.

So, I'm just curious to find out whether this percentage has changed at all.

Thanks!

Definitely not for me, but I do more destination weddings
15-20% is dfefinitely the standard if your guests live in the area. When destination weddings are concerned, that number increases and varies a lot.
Depends on where you are from... in India, for weddings in the same area the drop out number is usually 20-25%. Then again, in India.. people invite just about everyone to the weddings... even people that they remotely know or not know infact!
