Base price for couture custom bridal gowns

I am trying to find out what is a good base price for a couture bridal gown. This would be a gown that is made from the design to the completed gown using couture sewing techniques. It is not a designer gown purchased in a salon then ordered to measurements.

I am starting my bridal gown business and do not want over charge but do not want to under charge.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think you need to calculate the costs of materials and labor in order to determine what you will need to charge for a bridal gown. You also have to figure out if you are going to be high end or mid range, what is your niche? What brides ($) are you trying to attract? You have to take all that into consideration when pricing.
