I think our Facebook Fan Page was spammed

I just went to the Married Away Facebook page to update the status and saw that there were 924 new members.  While I'm flattered, it's clearly SPAM.  What I'd like to know is what the spammers are up to now.  What do they have to gain from liking a Facebook page.  I know there must be something in it for them.  Should I delete all of them?
