If you are nervous about the pictures, get some practice. You can do engagement photos with your photographer to get use to his or her style. You can also have friends take pictures to help you get comfortable in front of the camera.
Drink lots of water. Also avoid caffeine and alcohol. Hydrated skin looks best in
pictures.
Get plenty of sleep before the big day. No one looks their best when they are tired.
Use concealer. This will hid any under-eye circles or blemishes.
Practice your make-up before the wedding day. Be sure to take pictures of your trial runs to see how you look on camera.

This is a good point - most photographers offer a pre wedding photoshoot, or will include one in their coverage if you ask. This is a great way to break the photographic ice for both the couple and the photographer, I have always had very positive feedback with couples whom I have photographed this way as it completely reassures them about the photography for the wedding day.
