Do you have a membership with any of the Professional Associations out there? If so ,which one would you recommend? How much are they? What do they provide for you? Do they really help you get the contacts that you need?
I 'm in favor of AFWPI..The Association for Wedding Professionals International, is a wonder organization,that really is involved with their members!
Richard Markel ,whom is President of
AFWPI, is passionate about helping his members become successful in the wedding industry! I had the great opportunity to meet both Richard and Julia Markel at The Special Events Show that was held in San Diego,Ca. 2008. They were the kindest and caring individuals in the industry! The, memberships fee's are around 240. a year, and due to the economic crunch they have set up payment plans for all of us whom need that extra little help! Well worth the price for bridal leads and contacts,media oportunities plus using their logo for your websites,and advertizing is a plus. Brides become more confident in your services, cause they know you have taking a oath to be the best in your industry.
