Military wedding traditions are no different than regular wedding traditions; take the information you've read from the different websites and incorporate only the traditions and styles that you feel best express the style of wedding you both want.

However each branch of the military does have it's own traditions, so you if you want to follow a strict rule I would need to know which branch of the military you are both from.
we are both in very different branches and very differnt fields. he is an officer and i am an ncm! im a tech and he is an enginer!
We do quite a few military weddings, because as a veteran myself and the son of a veteran, we give substantial discounts to active duty military personnel. However, that being said, military styled weddings can be very different from their civilian counterparts. Much of it depends on how you want to incorporate your military style into your wedding. If the entire wedding party will be in uniform, that is important to know. If only the B&G, that makes it somewhat different. The branches of service are important as well. The USMC has some very cool ceremonies to utilize as does the other branches. If I were your planner and entertainer, we would discuss this part in great detail to make it unforgettable.

I just did a Marine recessional detail with a 10 Member Sword ceremony, with a simulated jet flyover and the USMC Hymn playing. I have done Air Force officer ceremonies, and doing an Army themed wedding on July 31. If I can help contact me via my website at www.DJAlanDodson.com
