Hi Bridal Tweet.

I'm the owner of an event and wedding design company that services the greater metro area.  I'm looking to Network with some wedding planners/coordinators and other vendors in my area.

Besides word of mouth and bridal show, how would you recommend making real vendor connections?

I'm in NYC, Wedding Wire, WedSpace, Twitter, Facebook are great resources. But joining an accredited association and vendor groups have been the best for me. Joining ABC has been great and NY Event Planners, each of these organizations also have a presence in other states.
I find that I have the most luck with vendors in other states lol! I would love to network with you as well. You can check out my unique invitation designs at www.takeitpersonallybychristine.com
Hi,

I can only reply to the vendor inquiry. I would love to introduce my couture wedding favor to a wedding planner, my favor is made for a bride who might be planning a seaside or beach theme wedding reception. I can connect with you if you like by giving you my personal email address if you like. Let me know.

Sincerely,
Carmen
I agree with Caren; facebook, blogs, and twitter are great resources!
Hello, we do gown preservations and would love to network and offer an opportunity for additional revenues. In the tight economy, we are seeing wedding professionals include value added services to their packages. Geographically, our service goes where our brides and wedding professionals are. I would love to share ideas with you. Find us at www.classicheirloom.com. Like us at http://www.facebook.com/ClassicHeirlooms?ref=ts
Hi, I'm in NYC and I find that Twitter has been the most helpful for me. Facebook has helped as well.
