Hello BridalTweeters!

How are your summers going? NYC is very hot and humid today but I certainly am enjoying the summer. Our last LIVE Vendor Chat was in June and it was a huge success. We talked about new ways to market to Brides and other Wedding Vendors. What other topics would you like to talk about for our next LIVE Vendor Chat? Is there a subject that you been wondering about? Or should we just have a LIVE cocktail party and get to know one another? Please help me to help you by giving me some topic ideas for our next chat. Thanks in advance for your help.

Christine, maybe we should talk about how to make our links more successful. (business facebook page, blog page, google profile, how do you add a custom HTLM email form in a business facebook page). Hope all is well, speak with you soon.

Beth - I love that idea! Thanks. If anyone else has any other good ideas, please add them to this discussion. Thanks. - Christine
That is a great topic! I wish I didn't keep missing these sessions. They are so positive!
Lets have a online chat. Get to know one another ~banter if you will, and exchange ideas. I missed the last one I would like to learn more how to take advantage of this site.
We can touch on the subject of client vendor relations... how that can help out in the long run. Business plans, marketing tools that have worked for you etc...
Hi Christine-
I think one of the vendors chats should touch base on vendors staying professional on their posts. If vendors want business they should not be writing about the industry for everyone to see. Keep vendor/clients (brides, event goers) separate. If you need business advice let make a separate vendor login or email each other. Vendors should be providing helpful tips, advice, links, suggestions, and events for brides. The topic should be how to stay professional and how to keep brides confident in our industry. I will send you a more detailed email of examples and ideas.
Thank you.

I agree with Coutney - keep vendor & client sections seperate. Perhaps vendors could give 2-3 tips that other vendors might offer the brides to help them work through finding the best vendor fit for them and/or some other aspect that might be helpful to brides From my floral preservation aspect the most disasterous thing a bride can do with her flowers is to put them in the freezer herself in an attempt to get them to a preservationist at a more convient time. Blooms should be kept cool & in a humid enviroment,NEVER FROZEN, after the festivites & gotten to the preservationist in a couple of days. If a bride talks about preseving her blooms this would have been an important point any vendor could mention to her and save the bride who didn't check things out before hand some heart ache.
