What a cool idea- the process of adjusting to married life while searching for a home can definitely be challenging. I'm looking forward to reading more :)

Do you ever think about all those extras that add up in the bride's budget-- did you think about stamps, gratuity, etc??? Check out this list to compare... http://www.budgetwisewedding.blogspot.com

I definitely will- that's terrible. I hope your family wasn't affected by the flood.

I've added all the new members to my blog, but Among All The Pretty Things URL did not work. Please send a new one and I'll add you. Thanks!

My advice to Flower FriendZ is to make your blog as personal as possible. Share ideas based on what you're currently doing in your work. That's the easiest way to avoid boatloads of research and reading. It's important to stay relevant to your topic, but once you have a reader base, people will also enjoy little digressions to hear about what's going on with you. Post as much as you can!

To be honest... it is very time consuming. That's why you see wedding bloggers go through lulls of inactivity when other aspects of their life get hectic. A lot of bloggers like to make a schedule of posts (I always find this helps) and then write these and automatically schedule when they will air. Wordpress let's you do this when you are writing a post and it is a really great tool.
If you follow a lot of wedding blogs, you will see that a lot of content is recycled from blog to blog (but make sure you always link to where you saw it first) but bloggers try to develop original content as well based on their own business, interests, current projects, etc.
Here's some great links that can help you develop ideas and try to follow as many wedding blogs as you can to stay inspired :)

I have been in the process of building a blog, but to be honest, i do not know where to start, and where everyone finds all the info they do- are they from other blogs or just spending time researching or both- seem very time consuming
