We're celebrating Black Hisotry Month on our blog. Black History month is a time to reflect and learn how African Americans have helped shaped our country. Throughout the month of February Soulful Engagements will introduce you to some notable African Americans throughout history as well as the African American inventors and innovators that inspired us to create this inspiration board. Enjoy!

I am so happy to be a part of Bridal Tweet and the people behind all of these wonderful businesses, I created The Wedding Box mainly because I like to organize, but also I saw a real need that busy Brides and Grooms needed some place that was only delegated to the Wedding and giving them a place to put all those " little bags " of goodies for the Big Day, but more than that , I have many more ideas and things I make for Weddings like fondant flowers of all colors, and fondant laces without using molds.
So during the next few weeks, I will be posting ALL the things I make, and All the ideas I have to make Your Wedding The Best!! And it doesn't have to be expensive either!!
Get ready for some fun!!

I'm finally taking my first baby steps in blogging. I blog on other people's blog but today my first post is up--from my own blog. Being so new to this I welcome any comments. My niche is the Vintage and Victorian Themed Weddings. I make flowers out of ribbon. My site is: floralcompliments.net. You all have been so wonderful to work with. All of my skepticism about if these sites really work has vanished. My blog will be sort of a business diary and I, myself, love the behind the scenes look at how anything is made and how true go-getters produce and get things done. You will be able to follow my day and I will be posting information about what it really means to have a Vintage themed wedding, whether it be the full-blown, authentic version or just bits and pieces that tweak a different style but give a taste of Victorian Elegance to their wedding day. Here is the link to the first post. Hope you like it. God Bless and have a great day. Michele Eddins Floral Compliments floralcompliments.net

We added a floral checklist to our Planning Worksheets page. The checklist can help you determine what kind of arrangements you will need for your ceremony and reception. To download the checklist click here.
