I heard a lot of different thing about how you should wear your rings my mom told me that some told her to wear her wedding ring then her engagement ring
because the other way meant something else and i was wondering which
way is the right way.

Nobody can tell you what you should do, but what is popular is to wear the wedding band first.

Tradition says that you wear your wedding band first, then your engagement ring. The thinking goes to the reason we wear our wedding rings on the ring finger of
the left hand. At one time, it was believed that there was a vein in
that finger that went directly to the heart, hence the placement of
the rings. You take off your enagagement ring for the wedding since
you are no longer engaged, but in the process of marriage. You put
your wedding ring on, closest to your heart, then your engagement
ring. The marriage should always be closer to your heart than the
engagement.

Traditionally, you put your wedding band on first ("closer to the heart", as they say), and the engagement ring goes on top of it. But realistically,
you can wear it in any way you want; I wear my wedding band on the
left hand and my engagement ring on the right as it's too bulky to
wear two rings on the same finger.

When I was getting married, the Bishop gave my husband the rings and showed him to put the engagement ring before the wedding ring. This makes sense to me
because you get engaged first and also because the wedding ring (the
symbol of the actual union) should dominate (or be on top of) the
engagement ring.

The other day my 1 aunt looked at my rings and said the engagment ring goes first cause i got engaged first but i have always worn my wedding first and then my
engagment ring and im not changing it now...Im sure my aunt is wrong
cause i have always heard that your wedding ring goes on first.

traditionally, at least, the engagement ring was worn during the engagement period, before marriage, and the wedding ring was then worn in addition to
the engagement ring once the marriage was completed.

You get engage first, you do not get married before you get engaged; the reason why some poeple change it round is just for fitness of the finger. Actually
why don't you wear it the WAY YOU want to wear it.

I chose not to have an engagement ring at all, as my husband and I wanted to start a family right away.

You wear you wedding ring closer to your heart, then your engagement ring.

Wear your wedding ring first...It will be closer to your heart....

I wear my wedding ring first and then the engagement ring.
