My sister made little Fimo figures of themselves to go on top of their Wedding Cake. It made for a nice, personal, comical touch.

My sister and her husband did a groom's choice mixed cd and a bride's choice mixed cd and alteranted them on the tables. This was a nice alternative because they have such different tastes in music. This way each of them got to put the songs they wanted on them.

I want to start growing potted flowers for decoration at my reception, but I am not sure which flowers will bloom the best in late July. I live in Cleveland, OH. Our reception is in my sisters backyard, but she doesn't have a lot of sunlight for planting so I figure I will grow them here and take them with me. Anyone have any ideas on if roses or dahlia roses are in bloom around then?
