Is there any wedding networking meeting in Houston texas???

I own a company that provides event sitters for weddings and corporate events. I have been looking for networking meeting for wedding vendors /planner but has not been able to find any group. The Houston chapter of Association of Bridal Consultant is not functioning.. and I cannot seem to find any networking group that meets in person on a weekly or monthly basis .  So my question to you guys in Houston is.: Are there groups out here in the houston area?? And if not why don't we form one???
