I am curious as to what types of marketing has brought you the most leads from brides? Also, what has your experience been with particpating in bridal shows? Just want to get the best bang for my marketing dollar.

Wow, this was really good info. I have been using facebook a lot and just recently started twittering. I had no idea what I was supposed to do with some of the terminology like RT, or #FF. Thanks again for making this simple and useful. BTW, look for me to be following you on Twitter.
The best types of marketing for me have been wedding sites that allow you to register for free. So far, I have not gotten any good leads from bridal shows, just alot of brides looking for freebies
Yes, Caren, I would agree with your statement about the bridal shows. I attended one this weekend, as a participant and I really didn't see any vendors spending time with brides. It looked like the most excitement was near the bridal attire, and make-up presentations, .
I haven't actually did a booth at a bridal show, but have signed up for the goody bag distribution. It is a decent fee, and you just supply a certain amount of items that promote your business. The one I participated in required me to send in 200 items. After the event I didn't even get a surge in website traffic, not sure if it was due to me choosing pens and flyers or because the event itself didn't attract much attention. My best advice would be to make sure it is a larger scale show
