What DIY projects are you seeing brides doing more of?

I have noticed that a lot of brides are doing their own wedding invitations. Even opting to send everything electronically, including an email RSVP.

Candy buffets are popular for a reason! They’re pretty to look at and can be tailored to suit the colors and style of your wedding. This giveaway comes to us from Senseless Sophistication, an Etsy shop specializing in handmade labels, signs, favors, and more for your wedding. For details, visit Blue Collar Bride!

Think primer, not powder.

Well, you can use some powder, but too much can make your face look pale and flat in photos. Instead, start by applying foundation primer and eyeshadow base--which are "critical" products for any bride. They'll keep your makeup in place for hours and hours but don't steal your glow like too much setting powder can.

Brides - Glow, don't glitter.

Assuming you want to look radiant, not like you doused yourself in sparkles, avoid highlighters, blushes and powder that contain mica, "These can make skin appear overly shiny and reflect too much light in photos," Safe bets: the Yves Saint Laurent Highlighter Palette or the Benefit "10" bronzer/highlighter duo. For more tips and to book your appointment  Hope this helps:)

Kate - very cool! You two must be so proud. You must send me final pictures of your brew with labels on so we can do a feature on it on our website. This would be great to share with our readers. Stay in touch with me.

Not your run of the mill DIY wedding project, but I'm just so proud I have to show it off! This is my wedding beer in the making- my fiancee and I are brewing it up for our guests. For anyone interested in doing the same, check out my post on the topic:
