I am exceptionally happy to show off the 'new chairs' for the studio! I took some old, wooden chairs, had some paint laying around and a boring day and went to town! I am so excited to begin working with these chairs, they have so much potential in the studio. New backdrop from Orange Peel Backdrops are on their way, and will totally compliment the new chairs! Being in Creative Photography for children is my passion!

I have owned and used the Lumiquest 80/20 for years and always struggled with taking vertical images while using the 80/20. This new version really is versatile, vertical or horizontal. Attaches easily, and folds flat. Velcor on 'window' works well, and easy manipulate open or closed with one hand. Great product for external flash!

This month is reserved for planning, marketing and just re-energizing (like I need that!) for the studio and myself. I have been doing some of the work that I, as a photographer, have wanted to do. I was very excited to be able to put my ideas into reality, I have a ton more coming but here is a sneak peak!
Upper Left, Tess Frizzell, country music rising star and daughter to country music royalty, Shelley West and Alan Frizzell. Upper Right, my good friend, Kayla, and her soon to be son, Bryce. Bottom left, a series of 7 overlays with a beautiful gal, Allyson. Bottom Right, the cover for the Daily News Baby Edition 2009. I had a blast doing each one of these!

We just showcased our photography at the Summer Bridal Spectacular at the Bridgewood Resort in Neenah, WI. The show was held on a Thursday evening. Being a mid-week show, I wasn't sure about the attendance, but the number of brides and grooms attending turned out great! It was a great opportunity for us to share our photography with potential new clients and we've already had great response with several brides contacting us after the show to schedule consultations. The Bridegewood Resort is also a beautiful location. We will be photographying an event there later this year. Are you participating in any bridal shows this year or have in the past? I'd like to hear about what marketing/networking opportunities you have found most successful.
I am in the Fox Cities area. Where are you located? Susan from Visuelle Productions introduced me to this fantastic network of local and national wedding vendors. If you are in the area, are you participating in any of the Visuell Productions Wedding Shows this year or have you in the past? We have and have had fabulous success.
